Hello everyone, I recently purchased a 1070 to pop into my computer replacing a 980ti. The 980ti was great and all, but it just gets so hot in my relatively small case, and often overheats.
Anyways, I opened up my computer, and installed the EVGA 1070

Easy installation. My PSU has 2 6+2 power connections, and the card has a single 8 pin. I read somewhere that it's fine to just use a 6+2, and ignore the other.
PCIexpress locking mechanism engaged, everything is nice and snug.
But the computer will not boot at all. When I hit the power button, the fans spin for less than a second, and the computer gives up. Anyone have any suggestions?
