1070 or Rx 580

I Currently have a 9590 with a R9 270x that have kept me for a while but id like to upgrade to either a 1070 or Rx 580. But i don't know which one will keep for as long as my R9 270x did. Any tips? I am also using 1080p if that helps.

The 1070 is about 20% faster than the 580 - but it's 30% more expensive:
