Hi,

System is
gtx 1070ti
ryzen 7 1700
600W FPS Psu
2x8 gb 3200mhz ram
b350m-a mainboard

But i have low fps' in games. For example i got 50-60fps in GTA 5 with ultra setting. I play at 1080p. Another ex. is assasin creed origins. i have 35fps in it. What do you think the problem is?

Driver versions and game settings. Gta5 grass quality for example, don't have it on ultra.

And for god sakes if you're using Geforce experience, dont let It optimise games. Often it sets settings and scaling too high like your running 4k compressed to 1080p.

i have 1070ti. so i dont think grass quality effect my fps that much. is it wrong?

It was in default. i just updated to new version. i did not change anything.

Is XMP on for the RAM?

Are individual cores hitting 100% when gaming? That will impact framerate. Ctrl+Alt+Del, Task Manager, Performance, right-click the graph, select logical processors. Maximize the window, fire up game and play 3-4 minutes then tab out to the performance window and report back (or screenshot).

Edit: another way to check is set he game preset to low quality. If the framerate jumps up then the issue is on the gpu side, if not then the cpu is causing the low frames.

Power settings should be set to max in both windows and the nvidia control panel at least til the issue is fixed.

Actually, If you are getting 60 fps average that’s not too far off as this this test was with a 1080 FE which is slightly faster than yours:
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-7-1700-cpu-review,5009-4.html

AC Origins is also notorious for being poorly optimized. Can see here would be at the bottom and their 1080ti is significantly faster than the 1070ti:
https://www.pcgamer.com/assassins-creed-origins-performance-guide/

So, after all that I’m not sure you actually having a problem.

Ty for your answer. Power settings on max and gpu never goes %100. i see it as max %50

i got 35FPS avarage which is so low i guess. Did you check my benchmark. How they go upper rank with the same components? Is it cuz they OC them?

ah ok sorry my bad. Ty for information

Not really. If cpu was running high usages would consider it.

Your situation is more to do with game graphic settings i believe. 1070Ti is a great card, just don't expect too much from it. Even a 1080Ti has trouble if crank the settings up in demanding games.

i tried AC's own benchmark. In ultra settings FPS is 32-73 . In the lowest setting FPS is 33-88. I am so confused. These cards are expensive but useless then. I can't even play in 1080p.
