I'm looking to keep costs in the £800-900 range if possible. I'll be doing 1080 gaming and some light video editing.

Since you are looking at light video editing, and 1080p gaming, I would suggest an R5 3600 instead. Also, you have the budget, for a faster GPU. The faster single threaded performance, will be quite helpful, in games.
