1080 or 1070ti for 1440p

As the title says, which should i get? I know that the 1080 is a objectively better but i dont know if that extra 50 bucks or so is gonna be worth it. Im thinking of getting the 1080 for the future proofing. Id also hate to buy a 1080 and then the new gpus are launched.

Vote for the gtx1070Ti. It is weaker, (by about 10% as you will see here):

But the gtx1080 is by no means worth $50 more, as the difference is minimal. I do have to say that the new gtx11xx lineup is just around the corner, so if you don't like seeing the new products next month, keep your money for the new lineup which -hopefully- will be launched in a couple of months.
