Hi guys I just upgraded from the 1060 6gb to the 1089 ti turbo and the benchmarks are lower than the 1060.

I have removed and reinstalled all software.

Set pcie to gen 3 in bios and no fix could it be psu

System build

Gigabyte aoura gaming 5 mb
Ryzen 5 1600x @4.1ghz
16 gb 3200mhz ram
M.2 2280 sad
Psu 550w

Any help would be great

Solution
It may be the PSU.

It could be your voltages are suffering with the new card.

I would run HWInfo or HWMonitor. You can check the voltages with these apps.

You can also log the voltages if you wish.

The voltages should be within +/- 5% of nominal for the +12, +5 and +3.3.

I may have also found another issue I'm using a tv not a monitor which is 1080p 60hz I'm guessing using that I'm not going to see any difference in performance between the 1060 and 1080 ti

What is ddu? I completely reformatted my ssd with Windows and everything. My psu is a corsair cx550. I have noticed on the box it says minimum requirement is a 600w psu and as I'm looking to upgrade my cpu soon I will need more power anyway. Just strange how my 1060 is out performing the 1080 ti at base clocks
