I just cant be sure between those two..
Im gonna buy a new pc this month so im not even sure if maybe I should wait.
I plan to play on 1440p (maybe on high 144hz), is 1080 gonna be enough or I need to upgrade to the ti version?

Solution
Depends on the titles, specifically - and settings used, of course.

For example(s):
The Witcher3. ~3 years old now. 1440p with Max settings you'd be looking more in the 50-90FPS range, depending on whether hairworks is on or off.

FarCry5. 1440p at Ultra, the difference between a 1080 and 1080TI is roughly 30%. (100 on the TI vs 78 on the 1080).

ROTR 1440p V.High. 107 vs 67 average.

So, while you're not necessarily aiming for Ultra/V.High, you'd make less sacrifices on a 1080TI to hit 144FPS, but a decent margin, vs what you would on a 1080.

Only you can decide if it's "worth it"

Depends on the titles you play. High settings, pushing 144FPS for most titles is going to need as much horsepower as you're prepared to throw at it*.

Personally, I'd look to the TI.

*Unless you're just looking at e-sports, in which case, a 1080 should be 'good enough', as would a 1070TI..... probably even a 1070.

Yeah Im actually playing the triple A titles:)
Im just not sure if its worth to spend 200-300$ more,if next year i will upgrade for new gen.
1080 is not strong as people say? I mean for 1440p.

Thats awesome thanks man, I think I will spend the extra dollars to get the best experience
Do you think its worth to wait till 2070 for price drop? if thats even a thing.

I wouldn't expect prices to drop anytime soon, really.

A 2080 is the same general ballpark as a 1080TI, and that's not really reducing TI's prices. There's a lot of overstock Nvidia or AiB partners might want to move in time..... but I wouldn't hold my breath.
