hi my dad recently bought me a 1080 gigabte g1 im thinkn about getting a second one and sli them and buy a 4k monitor as i dnt wanna get rif the graphics card my dad bought me as id feel bad i have a beat of a machine at present but i wanna start testing gaming in 4k or watching videos in 4k can any1 help me on advise what to do im at a crossroads many thanks

My advice is to buy your 4k monitor first and see how you do.

If you need more graphics power, the best thing is to trade in your GTX1080 for a stronger card.

SLI excels in synthetic fps benchmarks, but your gameplay is better with a good single card.
Dual gpu is prone to stuttering, screen tearing and non support in an increasing number of games.
