1080p. IPS Monitor with relatively low response time

Hi, I am looking forward to buying a new 1080p. IPS Monitor. I have had my eyes on the Dell UltraSharp U2414H and ASUS VN248H. Can someone please suggest a better monitor with an IPS Panel and relatively low response time. If not possible then please tell me which is better between the Dell U2414H and Asus VN248H. My budget is $250 (max.) ... Thanks in advance.

Where are you buying the monitors and how much can you get each one? As far as I know, they are $100 difference in price on Newegg. I would choose the cheaper one in this case.

Closer to $300, I would look for a 1440p monitor.

I can not upgrade to 1440p. because I play games a lot and my GPU is not powerful enough to deliver a smooth experience at 1440p.

The ViewSonic VX2363SMHL-W is your best bet. It's an IPS panel with a 2ms response time and 60Hz refresh rate.

Really depends on the OP. 27 inch would give me a headache if I'm sitting too close to it. I would definitely go for 1440p and not 1080p for a 27 inch monitor due to the pixel density; it's noticeable on 1080p as my dad has one and I really don't like seeing pixels on a monitor. 23-24 inch to me is the sweet spot for 1080p.

Are you also looking for anti-glare or glossy? There are more glossy IPS monitors out there.
