Hi,

it there any way to play with 1920 x 1080 pixel on a 4k monitor but without the interpolated scaling ?

I prefer 1:4 pixels instead of blurry interpolation.

i have a gtx 970

any hints ?

thanks

Right click anywhere on your desktop

Click "display properties"

Change the resolution

It will scale, but there is no way around that. What were you thinking? A 970 simply cannot support 4k at even acceptable frame rates.

Again, you should have gone with the R9 390, which can run 4K and 1440p pretty well. It also has almost double the cores and double the RAM.

You can't change the resolution without scaling, because a monitor's resolution cannot be changed, unless you found out some way to manually remove pixels.

the reason is i want play some older games in 1080p. they just look better on 1080p. new games support nice 4k. but old games look somtimes weird in 4k.

gtx 970 with 4k works pretty well for me. i dont have any problems on framerate. espesially when turned on g-sync game always looks really fluid without tearing. and i dont like AMD. they too loud, too much heat and they are not as efficient when it comes to how much watts they consume.

i am really happy with my gtx 970 i always have min. 60fps when playing on 1440p and 50-60 when playing in 4K.

actually i play alot racing games. and all of them run with 50-60 fps with 4K. best racing game is Project cars. looks just great in 4K

Are you kidding me? Sapphire Nitro R9 390 is one of the MOST effieicent cards out there, period. Not trying to start a fight, as to correct a half advised individual. Have you even owned an AMD card? Exactly. The GTX 970 is the 1080p card. A R9 390 will outperform the 970 at 1440p and 4k, respectively, as it was created for those resolutions.

As for your 970 with magical powers; I've owned countless 970s and 4K is but a dream from 25-45FPS.
P.S, 50 FPS is pretty much IDLE.

I don't know where you get your framerates from, you're saying that your 970 at 4K matches the framerates of a 970 at 1080p, which is ridiculous.

you want me to post a video taken with my smartphone, where i play project cars in 4k with 55-60 fps in high-maxed out setting ? i will show all setting within the video. would you stfu if i proove it to you ? please tell me yes. and i do a video. but u must promise me to stfu after i send the video. and u have to ask me for apologize. and u have to write: "i am a super noob with graphics card." in big letters. say ok and i do it.

i play following games in 4k in 55-60fps

project cars high
assetto corsa high
grid racedriver high
call of duty black ops 3 in middle-high setting
and alot other games
etc.

i could have buy a gtx980 ti. but i dont like loud graphics cards. so 970 gtx is perfect for me

amd cards are really bad in efficience. i had alot amd cards. they are garbage..

the old speech was right: "rather die, then ATI". still the same * when it was called ATI radeon. i would even not use a Radeon if u give me a radeon fury X for free. they just garbage. so much compatibility problems, heat, too much consumption, loud. bad drivers etc.

u must be an radeon troll or sumtin. u recommenent me garbage to use it ? u kidding me? i think u are not educated enough or a super noob.
