1080p or 1440p?

I have Evga GTX 1070 8GB Graphics card. Any suggestions for picking a new Monitor to my Graphics card? 1080 144hz or 1440 60hz?

I would recommend the 1080p 144hz monitor with N-Sync and ULMB (my fav).

Is it okay that is not G-sync. It's kinda expensive. Can't afford right now.
