1080p ultra settings or medium settings on 1440p?

which would look better 1080p ultra maxed out settings or 1440p medium-high settings? This is to decide whether im going to stick with my 1080p monitor or get a 1440p one.

Honestly, if there isn't a need to spend money on a new monitor, the don't. As long as your content with how your monitor is now (as in no scratches or dead pixels) then you don't need a new monitor. Also, MeesterYellow is correct as well about 1080p maxed out settings being a better perspective in gaming, it just, looks better. XD Hope this helps!
