So my 1080Ti just died in my new build. Since it's impossible to get a GPU for a decent price, should I just get something cheap (and available) like an MSI GT710? I can game on my PS5 for now but my PC usage include watching vids, browsing and have lots of charts for trading with 2, 32" monitors. Will this even work? If so, what am I gonna lose? My build is AMD 5950x, Noctua Chromax NH-D15s, Asus B550-I, Crucial Ballistix 3600 64GB, Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB and Seasonic Focus PX850. Thanks.

They are 4k monitors but I'm ok with 1980x1080 for a few months if need be. I can't get myself to pay scalper prices for a GPU. Newegg has a Gigabyte 1030 for $140 I might pick up if it'll work to get me up and running again.
GT710 is not going to do dual 4k, but the GT1030 should.

As in PC won't boot anymore. Error light on motherboard shows VGA problem. It was working fine then screens went blank and PC wouldn't boot anymore. I tried it on a friend's PC and he had same issue so I'm assuming it's dead.

If you need a usable pc then yes get a cheap basic gpu that will support your 2 monitors to get the system usable and just wait till the madness is over and you can get a better replacement.

Without knowing the resolution of your monitors I can't tell you if the GT710 will work for you.
