10GB Lost On SSD

Hi i have a 128GB SSD but it only has 118GB (My question is not based on this). It says i have 10.9GB left- however if i check the properties of the files on the SSD it says i am using 88.8GB. 118-88= 20 so why does it say i only have 10GB left?

Gta its self takes up most of that disk, you also have to recognize that the OS also takes up space. (about 10 - 20 gigabytes.)

Just saying, 118 - 88 = 30, so really you've got 30GB unaccounted for (that or typos, I'm guessing typos).

Anyway, when checking the properties did you highlight all files/folders in C and then select properties, or did you select properties on C when you're looking under "Computer"? If you just highlighted everything, there's probably some hidden files/folders so that might be why.

Have you disabled the pagefile and hibernation? These both take up a fair bit of space as well by default.

It was the hibernation files. Thanks for the help
