I am having an issue with my PC where all of a sudden, it wont connect to the ethernet despite always working no problem?? It not only connects to wifi. When i try to enable ethernet, because its disabled for some reason it doesnt work. I also forced reset network settings but nothing.

Also, whenever now i try to restart my PC or shut down, its just stuck on that screen forever? This never used to happen and now it happens all the time so i just need to hold the power button instead. Another thing, whenver i press the power button to turn it back on, the lights come on from rgb but theres like a 5-8 second silence before the pc makes any noise and actually starts working. Before it would instantly making noise and start up.

What is going on? The only thing i downloaded was Faceit Anti cheat, but is this the cause? I also cant even delete it now when i try its just stuck on the uninstall.

My mobo is:
z790 A prime
Dominator 32gb ram 6000

Try a linux USB boot image. If you are having boot issue you might have issues getting this to work.

Mostly this is to see if you have a hardware issue or it is something messed up in windows.

Pretty much all these images have the common ethernet drivers. Kinda hard to see the messages flash by on boot but if you plug a ethernet cable linux will use that before wifi. You really don't need to do much more than see if you can browse web pages. There might be menus similar to windows to see the ethernet status. I don't use linux enough to tell you the line mode command off the top of my head I have to go search for it when I need it.

Although not relate to ethernet you might also try to boot a USB image of memtst86+. It is not uncommon for the machine to appear dead when it has issues with the memory and it testing to see what speed the memory will run.
