Occasionally I will get Q-Code 00 on boot and found what might be causing the issue. It appears that the lever is not putting enough tension on the CPU. Or the lever is shorting my motherboard by touching my waterblock. If I see it posting 00 and I touch the lever slightly it will post properly.
I tested it on another Z170 Deluxe and tested with a Z170 Premium, same issue on all boards with the EK Supremacy Evo mounted. In my 20 years of building PCs I haven't had this issue before. Does anyone have a permanent solution for this minor annoyance? If I knew it was a short, I would just put some non-conductive paint on the lever, but I am not sure if it is a tension issue.
