1151 worth the wait?

Hi,
My previous thread was about the cpu i should use for video editing which ends up with the Xeon 1150 platform.Now the 1151 was just announce and my question is would the 1151 worth the wait .I seen its specs and i felt very impressive for the 6th gen i7 6600k at around 350 bucks which isn't really that overprice compared the 2011 platform.However,I really need a pc to work with so should i go for an AMD budget build and upgrade for the 1151 in 2016?or should i wait.There are many news some say it will be release in Q1 2016 like the 5th gen which was release in the early 2015 and some say it will be release by the end of august.So when will it actually be in stores.

That depends on your own actual activities, but personally I would no longer fully suggest going with an FX processor for an editing/auto CAD build. Xeon for what can comparably be the same price for the cpu, mobo is far better.

I've yet to read and SERIOUS conclusive reviews on the 6700K or 6600K, so we'll just have to sit patiently for a bit to get benches from those who get test samples.
