Hello Everyone,
I just got myself a Corsair Pro Performance 128gb SSD and installed it on my computer. I'm having what seems to be slow write speed and I hope someone can figure out what is wrong. Let me tell you step by step what i did.
Installed SSD on Sata 3 slot. Enabled AHCI in Bios and Windows. Windows is running on a separate HDD (Caviar Black Sata 3 on Sata 2 port). Formatted SSD using Disk Manager in Windows. Tried copying a 4gb iso file from HDD to SSD, got around 100-120mb/s speed. I also tried switching to Sata 2 port but made no difference.
Here is my Crystal Disk info
Seq : 391.0 / 233.5
512k: 317.4 / 209.1
4k : 27.38 / 50.01
My computer specs are:
Intel i7 950 2.6 Ghz
Asus x58 Sabertooth Motherboard
Asus Geforce Gtx 570
WD Caviar Black 1 TB Sata 3 6gb/s HDD
Are those numbers normal or is there something wrong with my mobo or ssd?
If i'm missing any vital information please do tell and i'll do my best to answer.
