750W is probably too much.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147372&cm_re=samsung_850-_-20-147-372-_-Product

Save yourself $40.

Any particular reason you have/want to get it all from one site?

Anyways if you change your mind there's a good deal going on for the Samsung 850 EVO (250 GB for $85).

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-850-EVO-MZ-75E250B-AM-2-5-250GB-SATA-III-3-D-Vertical-Internal-Solid-St/301433997715?customid=bf223ae84f1b4577b95da15ca27fbf20&pub=5574652453&afepn=5335869999&campid=5335869999&afepn=5335869999&rmvSB=true

My only other two cents would be if you're going with an i7, might as well upgrade to 16GB of RAM for the video rendering. That's just me though. Otherwise you should go with an i5 if you're just gaming.

750W is not too much if OP decides to overclock and SLI in the future. Yes the Samsung 850 is another option but I personal like the Crucial brand over the Samsung brand when it comes to SSD.

UrbanZyrx did a very good build, almost the same as mine except mine has MSI Z97 Gaming 5 mobo, Define S and the slightly newer EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ with better fans. That PSU is really good and 750W gives possibilities for SLI
or even it being used in future builds. Only thing I would change is the the case to a Fractal Design Define S because of its good airflow, dust filtering and quality.

This build is much better if you do not want to overclock.

If you read the original post, you see that his primary focus is gaming. Getting an overclockable hyperthreaded cpu would make sense if editing was his primary focus.

For example, I would have suggested this if it was a video editing rig.

In that case professional editing... i5 is more than enough for casual and semi pro editing unless if its 4K.

That's why, in my build above, I have gone with the Xeon. It's a locked i7. Hyperthreading capabilities is always welcome. :) and way within budget.

You guys have a good point with the Xeon and i5; however, the build that I posted is suitable for the OP. Allows OP to have a system that can max out triple A games, provide enough power/performance for video rendering, and will last OP a few years with the potential of having an SLI configuration. My build meets OP request; not to mention providing parts from one seller 😉
