Hey, I've been doing some searching on my own and best I can tell 120hz monitors are either A) CRT, or B) 16x9 1920x1080.

I had a friend who had an active 3d system on his laptop (REALLY nice alienware) and the 3d impressed me, to the point I considered buying a 120hz monitor for my desktop system. Problem is I like more vertical space in my monitors ratio (4:3, 5:4, or 16:10), while still being able to watch 'HD' content at a minimum of 1920x1080.

Does anyone know of a 'reasonably' priced and sized monitor for desktop use, that meets my preferences here?

I'm willing to upgrade my build to accommodate higher strain on my system if needed.

Here's what I'm running right now:

Mobo: Asus p8z77-v pro
Processor: Intel i5 3570k
Graphics: EVGA superclocked GTX 560ti
Memory: 8GBx2 ddr3 (Forgot brand/model, but I think they are ddr3 1800's)

AFAIK all 120hz monitor are 16:9 1080ps so no 4:3/5:4 or 16:10

The top 2 are the cheapest you can find on newegg.com, the $299 Acer 23.6" without 3D kit or the $329 after rebate ASUS model with 3D kit.
