Question 120hz Laptop Display with 60hz Monitor

Hey

I bought an Asus Tuf fx505dv recently. It comes with 120hz display that works smooth. Still, when I connect my second monitor to it ( an old LG, with 60hz display) I see it limits my refresh rate to that of the second monitor (60hz). I have looked into it and can't really get a working solution to this problem. Any clue would be appreciated

Are you mirroring the displays? You can only have different refresh rates and resolutions when extending the display. Mirroring limits you to the lesser of two displays.

Nope, I'm not mirroring the displays. What I noticed it's in Elder Scrolls Online, when I have both monitors on AND Vertical Sync activated, it limits fps to 60, as to match the 60hz display, while without the second monitor, it goes to 120.
