Hello,
I like to upgrade my system but i like to know which bundle 12400f + Asus Prime H610M-E or 5600x + ASUS Prime B450M-A II is best for performance specially in gaming purpose. I have a 3060ti to install & also have 550 watt psu. In my country this two bundle came with same price . I cant afford more than this. I like to know which is best for Gaming purpose. Thanks in advance.

the H610 mobo is very basic and i would not trust it to power anything more than 65W.

The Prime B450 A II is a decent mobo and you can upgrade your cpu to 5800X3D later on if you want.

I would choose the 5600X and B450 combo.

Could i know the brand and model of that 550W PSU?

You would be hard pressed to tell any difference in performance between the two.
The 12400 is marginally better for gaming because of a bit better single thread performance.
The 5600X might be better for multiplayer because of stronger multi thread performance.

Stick with what you know.
If you are an amd user, go with amd.
If you are a intel user, stick with intel.

I'm using msi mag 550watt psu. But 5600x processor is from 2020, will it be any problem & 12400f is much newer processor. Many games like uncharted is not supports on old cpu, I know that it will run on 5600x but still asking because it's a bit old against 12400f.

Yes thanks very much for your suggestion. But I want to know about the combination of mobo & processor & I have nothing with amd or intel processor, whichever combination is good I'll go with it.

I have an i5-12400 and an Asus Prime H610M-A D4 motherboard. It runs great and I don't have any issues with it.

Like said above, the 12400f performs slightly better. but your upgrade option is limited to13400f and maybe the 14400f if you are lucky.

my main concern was the weak vrm and hence you cannot use a 13700 or 14700 with peak turbo and sustained clocks.

No I've no plan for upgrade for coming 3 to 4 years. And I'll pair with an 3060ti so will the mobo runs smoothly or bottleneck something.
