... run?

From the suggestions/builds given in the thread, I have the following final build:

nl1v0m.png

29wmkcg.png

vngvsy.png

Remove Hyper 212 from the above, I'm getting it for about $35 cheaper from TigerDirect, and final cost is $1285.55

I would like a rough estimate of its performance for the following games:

CoD: MW2
Crysis
SC2 (I know it'll handle this, gotta ask for the formality)
Source Games (HL2, TF2, etc.) (see above comment)
Napoleon: Total War
EVE Online

These are ones I have or will definitely be getting (SC2)

Edit/Double Post to not be caught by people bemoaning my budget: IF needed, I am willing to downgrade to a Radeon 5850, which is still an absurdly powerful GPU; however, if this is to fit better cooling, I will not make this compromise (stock performance trumps OCing for my considerations)

Last two posters: Sorry, you guys forgot the monitor.

Batuchka: I see that the 5850 was acquired with a combo'd PSU... any chance you can find a 5870, since you're so far under budget? Again, if I can't invest as much in extraneous cooling, that's fine; with a 5870 and the fact that I'm not an OMG EXTREEEEEEEME gamer, non-OCed performance is still fantastic for me.

EDIT: Does this look like a good PSU?

Beautiful. That takes me to $1250, BEFORE $40 of rebate, and I get everything but the keyboard and mouse I already have.

Now, how well will the rig, as below, handle these games (the ones that I have at the moment and/or want to get):

CoD: MW2
Crysis
SC2 (I know it'll handle this, gotta ask for the formality)
Source Games (HL2, TF2, etc.) (see above comment)
Napoleon: Total War
EVE Online
Plenty of others I'm forgetting right now

Total is $1308, before rebates; 8 bucks over budget, and that was just a kind-of-broad limit. I even squeezed in a good CPU cooler.

Any improvements you can see need to be made? Or am I pretty solid? If so, I'm gonna go ahead, order, and get started on my rig.

Edited with readable pics.

Hey, whaddya know? Thanks for saving me that, I am now UNDER budget! (shipping's cheaper than from Newegg AND the fan itself is cheaper)

Awesome, and as asked, will this be a kick-*** rig as-is? If not, what part holds me back most? (The question, of course, extends to anyone who passes through; Since it's midnight here, there's no hurry to order, so I'll let this thread cook 'till morning and see what I get back from it.

OP updated with final config.
