So first off I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to building a computer so this is all guess work and I would really appreciate any help you can offer. This is what I have come up from a bit of research by molding a few other build guides into one. I willing to spend a more if a specific upgrade it is really going to be a lot better of a machine and will last that much longer.
the other question I had is that I have had multiple people telling me to go with an AMD card and that most pople follow intel for brand loyalty and I can get a lot more bang for my buck running an 8 core AMD for cheaper. And that since the new consoles will be running 8 cores developers are going to start utilizing all the cores where as previously they were not. Is this something I should look into?

I was originally going to run with a 750w PSU because I thought that I down the road one of the first things to upgrade would be the GPU and the most eddicient method to do that would be to run a SLI but I heard it wasn't worth it. Thoughts on this?
anywho... below are a few builds i cooked up. Please make any changes or recommendations as you see fit.

PS - I was just told the CPU cooler and my memory will not work together. Any recommendations on replacing one part of the other to make it run better?
