I want to refer to this post

"MSI B660s should have the lite load option - look for it under advanced CPU options and set it to 1, leave CPU voltage at auto to start with.
On my 13600KF, chaning lite load to 1 drops the max voltage in cinebench from 1.409v to 1.259v. "

I understand that bios sets more voltage than it should sometimes, resulting higher CPU temps. I have 13600k paired with AK620, on games such as battlefield 2042, or apex my CPU max spikes up to sometimes 90c. I have tried looking for a similar settings in my Gigabyte motherboard, but I am not sure which setting does that.

I want to reduce my cpu temps, can someone help me?

My motherboard Z690 GAMING X DDR4 Gigabyte

It looks like it's slotted on the front with some obstruction on the upper and lower fan front fans, if that is the right case.
Yeah, that's what I saw, and the marketing about airflow further down the page smells of bull...
Those fans are not good:
32CFM
1.2mmH2O
^with the fan at 100% rpm. That's WEAK for intakes. Good for nothing more than exhaust, as air resistance typically isn't as strong at the rear and top.

What does CFM stand for?
Any recommendations of a case that would be acceptable?

CFM (cubic feet per minute) is typically not calculated by users.

It is a specification provided by the fan manufacturer.

Of some importance, but maybe you shouldn't live or die by it. Lots of other factors to consider: case design; number and type of fans; your tolerance for noise; your anxiety level over temps; obstructions like fan grills or heatsinks, cost, etc.

How do you calculate the CFM?
Lafong already responded, but in simpler terms, it's a measurement of the 'umph', or driving force of a fan.
Static pressure(mmH2O) is a measurement of how well a fan holds up against obstacles. The higher it is, the less CFM is lost and vice versa.

Cases are a personal thing. Pick a few you like, and share the links with us.
Hint: the more straightforward the path of entry/exit(for air), the more effective cooling will be.

Literally impossible to calculate, between fan curves, fan specs, and the degree of obstacles present.

Have personally used this one, so I can vouch that it's a good one.
2nd one looks fine too.
The 3rd one... carrying handles in the front? I guess that's a style... looks ok too.

I have tested open/closed case window, they dont seem to be much different.
What else can I do?

I'm not sure what only opening the side panel is supposed to prove? Most have their side panels closed, with intakes having a fan blowing in.
Maybe GarrettL can clarify.

The screenshots show a max of 80C, not 90C that was mentioned in the first post. That's already a significant improvement if that is the case...
Also... this game used up to 191w of cpu power? Or was it another app?

To see if the front panel was obstructing the airlfowto a point of causing the higher than normal temp issues.

OCasionally, when for example booting up apex it just goes up to 90 , it does happen to me, rarely but it does.

Your screenshot shows that the undervolt is not being applied to both the core (IA Offset) and the cache (LLC/Ring). Many Intel CPUs will ignore this undervolt request unless both the core and the cache are set equally. Are you using the BIOS to adjust the voltage? It might not be working correctly.

I will send you a version of ThrottleStop that supports 13th Gen CPUs. It will allow you to set these two voltages correctly / equally.

No problem, I understand. All I know is that Intel XTU does not appear to be working correctly.

its a trojan
Some anti-virus programs complain with beta releases. If they are not yet familiar with the .exe, they complain. I guess you will have to wait for this version to be released at TechPowerUp. Maybe next week.
