1366x768 vs 1600x900 laptop on a 14' screen

I need some help what will be a difference? i only know that it will affect my workspace, the icons will be smaller on bigger resoliuton, but how about gaming? and films? i would have NVIDIA GeForce GT755M GDDR5 2GB video card.

768p kinda sucks even on a 14" screen. A GT755 will power both of these resolutions just fine for film and medium settings at 900p in most AAA games, you might be able to push high settings at 768p. If you can, get a 1080p screen, manufacturers usually let you upgrade during the ordering process online for anywhere from $50-80. A GT755 is a waste of money for 768p though IMO. If you really want to get productivity going, you can always hook up your laptop to a large monitor or tv and have two screens.
