Hey guys i wanna do some upgrade to 1440 but i have a tight budget , i spot an asus 1440p monitor for about 350 £ but i notice that its 60hz and the cheapest 1440 144hz monitor is benq xl2730z at 415 £ , what is the best option cuz i only had about 400 £ for budget

Solution
1440p is great I've been using this resolution for 2 years and used 3 different monitors.

xl2730z is the way to go for gaming especially if you like fps games however this resolution and refresh rate is not for a budget.

You will need a very power system to drive the monitor.

http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2420g might be a good idea.
I went from a 1080p 60Hz to 1440p 165Hz monitors. The difference was massive. I highly recommend the BenQ model. Playing at 1440p is a great jump but getting above 60fps is hell yeah. I love it.

There are 3 responses all by one person? ok, well...that could have been done in one.

The PB278q is the 60 hz pls I mentioned above however the pg278q is the one you want however it will be a lot more money.

The PB278Q is 3 years old, and the PG278Q 144Hz pushes much better in terms of fps gaming. I'd go for the PG model instead. Also, it is probably still under warranty.
