[SOLVED] 1440 vs 1080 - 24" vs 27"?

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 cpu and Sapphire Pulse 5600 XT system. I need to buy a monitor for gaming and some CAD work + Rendering. I've heard 1080 p is blurry on 27" whereas I'm not sure if my system can handle 1440p. I mostly play MOBAs and Civ6 but I will play newer titles too (some FPS but mostly single player) I preffer to have a 27". Do you recommend a 24" 1440, a 27" 1440 or a 27" 1080?

What are you using now?

I run 1080p on 27" and it doesn't bother be.

I also run 4k.....and yeah it's sharper....but I don't have a problem with the 1080p.

....and I think a lot of it depends on how far away your eyes are as well....so it's very subjective.

My personal rule-of-thumb is not to exceed 0.3mm dot pitch.
26" is the largest 1920x1080 monitor and 34" is the largest 2560x1440 monitor that fit that rule.

But, as jay32267 said, it is pretty subjective.

I have an older Dell 1080p 27” and small text appears slightly blurred.

I have an Asus 1440p 27”, crystal clear.
