Hello, currently my system has two 1080s in sli and im using a 4k60hz monitor which i love. Recently a stain appeared on the inside of my monitor so i am sending it back for a full refund. Should i get a 28" 4k 60hz acer predator with gsync up to 75hz refresh rate or should i get a 27" 1440p 144hz monitor? I love gaming at 4k and to be honest i have never tried or seen in person a 144hz monitor. when using my 4k monitor and trying 1440p it really looked console graphics for me, i dont if it is cuz im used to 4k. Any advice? Will i regret getting a 1440p monitor which is half the res of my 4k monitor or should i just get the 4k with gsync 75hz?

well there will be no screen tearing so it will appear smoother and it runs a bit past 60hz.

Many gamers prefer the smoothness of 144hz (basically means you can max at 144fps, visible), over the detail of 4k, but its personal preference.

Like i said, i have never gamed on a 144hz monitor, idk how it feels. On the web everybody says 1440p 144hz all the way. Will that new 4k with gsync make gaming better than my actual 4k 60hz monitor?
