Currently looking to get a new monitor to replace my dual 24 in screens.
I want to get a monitor that feels good to game at but also supplies enough screen to be able to work as if I had something like dual monitors. Thoughts or opinions on getting a 27in vs a 32in of 1440p? Just looking for some advice.

I just upgraded from a 27" to this 32" and the size difference is massive. That said, I loved my 27" as well.

But the biggest difference I have ever noticed was going from 60Hz to 165Hz (if you have the GPU to drive it). The difference was a game changer. This is assuming you want to use the monitor for gaming of course.

My budget is about 400-600$. I really do not care much about specs all that much, I have gamed on 4ms response time and 60hz and have liked it. My real question is which would fit my criteria better. I'm looking to combine my dual monitors and wondering if 27 inch would feel big or small, or if I would need to get a 32in to feel like I still have dual monitor space.. if that makes sense lol..

I think im going to go with the 32" monitor. Thanks for your advice. :)

Yeah, a 27 inch monitor is only a little over 25% larger than a single 24 inch screen in terms of area, and the pixels are smaller, so it probably wouldn't be a particularly good option for replacing two 24 inch screens. 32 inches on the other hand would be close to 80% larger than a 24 inch screen, with about the same pixel density.

Another option you might look at would be ultra-wides. There are some 3440x1440 ultra-wide screens available within that price range, which have nearly 35% more pixels than a regular 1440p monitor, and nearly 20% more pixels than two 1080p screens combined. Just be aware that due to the narrower aspect ratio, a 35 inch 3440x1440 screen will have approximately the same total area as a 32 inch 16:9 screen. And of course, you would need a relatively high-end graphics card to run recent games well at that resolution.
