So I have a 48" LG C1. It's a beautiful TV with great features like Gsync and 120hz.

Unfortunately I don't have a PC quite capable of running some games in 4k 60fps. (3060 ti).

Is there a way to run 1440p and just turn off scaling and have cropped black bars? I figure it won't look bad because it's an OLED and the unlit area won't be visible.

Anybody know the best way of doing this? Let's use Cyberpunk for example, as the game. I wasn't sure where I should be outputting 1440p, straight from nvidia toolbar? Through the game itself? Etc......

Thank you so much

I have the same tv and a 3070.
With a high quality ultra hdmi cable, you should be able to produce 120hz output at 4k.
The game itself should have an option to run at lesser resolutions.
I tried civ 4 at 1440p and it looked just fine.
Thanks, yeah i have a certified 2.1 HDMI cable.

Do you use any scaling? Or is the 1440p cropped? I have read 1440p scaled to 4k can look blurry because it's not an even integer when scaling. It's 2.25x scaling. Where 1080p is 4x scaling.
