Hi All,

I'm about to get the new Intel Arc B580 Graphic's card and I'm looking to get a new monitor also. My question is, should I even entertain the idea of getting a 4k monitor or should I just stick to 1440p monitors. I was looking at the AOC Q27G3XMN 27" Mini LED Gaming Monitor which is 1440p, or maybe the Gigabyte M27UA, but that is 4k resolution. I've read that the Arc is good for 1440p but I didn't know if I got a 4k monitor if it would worth it or not.

The RTX 4090 struggles to run the latest games at 4K, high settings and frame rates without DLSS, (which in of itself sort of defeats the purpose of playing in 4K) so unless you change your mind and decide to buy the RTX 5090 in a few months on a whim, 1440p is your best bet. There are many amazing 1440p monitors out there, but the AOC Q27G3XMN you mentioned is pretty much the best bang-for-buck option right now, provided you want something brand new.
