Hello, I am doing a new build for 2017 and I don't know whether to get a 4k at 60hz or full HD at 144hz (no 1440p at 144hz coz too overpriced) I play csgo sometimes, story games, and other fun multi-player games

Well in that case I would get a single 1080 or whatever flagship gpu comes down the line if you plan to wait and spend the money you saved on a nice 144hz 1440p monitor and any other parts you many need.

SLI is not what it once was, SLI support for AAA games in 2016 was terrible or non existent for many games and it looks like that trend is only going to continue. A very small percentage of pc gamers have SLI setups, so most game developers do not see the need to properly optimize their engines for it.
Those are two very different animals. Can your system even run 4k at reasonable framerates? I would imagine a CSGO player would want a 1080p 144hz panel so you can actually see framreates up to 144fps, which will help in twitch shooters like CSGO if your system can push 144fps at 1080p. I would rather have a 4k 60 panel for most single player games like RPG's and what not but only if my system could properly push 4k.

Well your system specs and the games you play will determine the monitor I will recommend. As I said previously for CSGO I would imagine a 1080p 144fps monitor would be best, for most single player games I would probably prefer 4k 60 but only a top of the line system will push that in newer games.

I might get a double Gtx 1080 or 1080ti or from amd if they have better, so specs aren't an issue
