Question 144hz display only showing 120hz option in Windows ?

Hello i have a AOC C24G1 which is 1080p 144hz but in Windows it only shows the 120hz option even though my old pentium n5030 laptop could display 144hz no problem even though some other dell laptops only had 120hz too. Currently i am using uhd 630 graphics on a asus prime h410m-e board although interestingly intel graphics command center does say it supports 1920x1080 (144p hz)

In Windows monitor adapter look for your resolution under pc category of resolutions not tv list of resolutions labelled as hd/uhd/sd as interlace suggests you're looking at.

im using a desktop my old laptop which did do 144hz is a asus x543 with a pentium n5030 and 4 gigs of ram my desktop has a i3 10105 and a h410m-E board
i used hdmi on both desktop and laptop

The maximum resolution out of the HDMI port of an i3 10105 is 4K 30Hz. This only gives you 1080p 120Hz.

However are you really going to miss that extra 24Hz?
