144hz freesync monitor on nvidia 1070

i am planning to buy a monitor for my gaming system. i am currently having a asus nvidia gtx 1070 strix and was looking for g sync monitor and they are quite expensive and tried looking for alternative free sync monitor so just wanted to know will there be any performance issues using the display or please advise any cheap g sync monitors?.

1. Freesync only works with AMD. For Geforce, just turn it off and it will perform as any normal monitor. You can use Vsync/fast sync etc if stuttering occurs, will be inferior than Gsync.

You can use a Freesync monitor with a Nvidia card, but Freesync won't work it will just behave like a 144Hz monitor without frame syncing.
