144hz help DVI

Is there anyway i can get a dual link DVI connection from a HDMI 2.0 or mini Display port out with a adapter. I bought a laptop but have a 144hz monitor at home from my old desktop and would like to use it for gaming. I tried finding solutions and cant find any would be glad to any suggestions and i have plenty to spend if i can make it happen.

Unfortunately, no. HDMI is limited to 60hz.
Only DL-DVI and DP can do 144hz.

You could probably still use an adapter, but you'd be getting 60hz because of the hdmi refresh rate capacity.

You can go up to 144hz at 1080p with HDMI 2.0 and 120 with 1.4b but my monitor is not HDMI 2.0 last time i checked

Regardless, if you plug your laptop into your monitor with an HDMI cable, you'd still only be able to get 60hz from it. I know because I've tried it before.
