Hello guys,

I have a question regarding 144hz refresh rate monitors.

I am planning on buying the BenQ XL2411Z. I currently have AMD A10-6700 with integrated AMD Radeon HD 8670D. I have searched literally the whole internet to try and find out of my GPU and HDMI 1.4 can run it at 144hz, I find so many mixed answers that I just don't believe anything anymore, lol.

So my question is, can I run 144hz? Or even 100hz/120hz? If the HDMI is the problem, I can upgrade that no problem.

Greetings,

Solution
It would need to be HDMI to dual link dvi. Not entirely sure one exists. Seen a few that claim to be dual link but according to the reviews they are only single link.

My motherboard is the MS-7857, version 1.1.

I bought the pc when it was already built ( i know its stupid but i did it a bunch of years ago xD) and it's manufactured by Medion.

Well, sh*t. Lol. I don't have a DVI port in my pc.. Will I still get 144hz if I plug the DVI in my monitor and use a DVI to HDMI connector? Is there even any way? I have only a HDMI and VGA port..

Hey, I do have one more question tho. So if I do find this specific cable, my rig is still able to run 144hz? I've heard some stuff about integrated graphics and 144hz not working on it.

You could probably hit 144FPS in LoL but not much else.

Yes, okay. This is fine to me because I'll just use the highest possible HZ for the games I play untill I upgrade my rig.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,
Blazey
