[SOLVED] 144hz monitor stuck with 60hz

I have a AOC g2460 144hz monitor that is connected to my amd 6700xt graphics card.
I have a HDMI 2.1 cable that supports up to 10k gaming.

Somehow i cant change the refresh rate of the monitor in windows still.
I tried advanced monitor settings in windows and the only settings is 59,99 hz and 60hz

I tried AMD software: Adrenalin Edition. and changing the refresh rate number fra 60 to 144hz but it says "The settings are not compatible with this display"

Am i missing something in the AMD software?

There are several different versions of the g2460 with different letters at the end of the model number. Which exact model do you have?

Well after many attempts to find the monitor. It says, it has the max compatibiliy with HDMI 1,4. Which doesent support 144 hz. Welp...

G2460PF can run at 120 Hz over HDMI with a custom resolution. Not sure which G2460 you have though.
