Question 144Hz option disappeared in the display settings ?

Today my monitor has reset to 60hz from 144hz for no reason I can think of. I am using a DP cable and I have a 3080 GPU, with my monitor being capable of 144hz.

Sometimes when I turn my monitor on and off the option pops back up but when i select it my screen goes black then goes back to 60hz.

Is there anyway to fix this issue?

I suspect the cable to be the culprit, can you test with another cable?

Going to be buying a new cable tomorrow, hopefully it works!
