Hello,

I've been having an issue with my JBL Wave Flex wireless earbuds. When i put them back in the case they didn't turn off, and so would run the battery flat. Sometimes when i remove them from the case they wouldn't wake up either and id have to plug it in for a few seconds and mess around a bit to get them to come on.

I thought id take it apart and see if it wants a new battery. The battery seems fine, but what I have noticed is with the USB C adapter unplugged the device performs flawlessly, and as soon as I plug it back in its back to it's old tricks. The USB adapter seems like the issue. Is there anything I can do with it now? I can't seem to find a replacement online.

Thanks,
Ben.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

List of all connected peripherals.

Wired or wireless network? Any USB network dongles?

= = = =

What is the reason or purpose for the mentioned USB-C adapter?

Does the adapter cause problems on other known working computers?

Its a JBL wave flex - they're bluetooth earphones
the USB adapter is to charge the device
