144hz option not showing even with display port

I have a asus xg27vq and when i go to select the 144hz option it is not showing, it's connected via display port, what should i do?

I am using the display port output in my graphics card (rtx2070) and i am not using an adapter. I really am not sure what to do.

Can you send all the specs of the cable you’re using? Try a different cable if you haven’t already, but bare in mind that I can’t help you very much with the small amount of information you’ve given. Does the option not show at all or is it greyed out type information. I’ll help to the best of my ability once you provide me with that info.
