Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP

Budget Range: $1500 w/o graphics card

System Usage from Most to Least Important: I need this to run exocharts.com without lag, on dual 50” Hisense TV’s.

Are you buying a monitor: have two 50” Hisense TV’s running 3840x2160

Parts to Upgrade: new build

Do you need to buy OS: use Parrot OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: none

Location: Asheville NC, USA

Parts Preferences:

Overclocking:
No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 3840x2160

Additional Comments: looks are irrelevant, function is everything. I will be adding a graphics card when prices normalize. I’m assuming until I pick up the graphics card the system will only run one of the monitors but would be great if it could run both from the start. I have no idea if its the CPU or the graphics card that makes this work.

These are the parts that I’ve “researched” and picked out. 100% open to changes.

I’m looking to put together a quality PC but don’t care about brands and such, I just want what works. I don’t know anything about the cooling radiator size and wether it will fit the case appropriately or not. I would rather have a larger case to ease with installation.

You would need to go the Intel route if you want the new processors within integrated graphics. I would look at the i9-10850K or i9-11990K with a Z590 motherboard that fits your budget.

This will give you what you are looking for till the GPU situation comes to light. Outside of that, you will need to wait to the newer AMD cards come out that support integrated graphics.

Sticking with AMD due to ease of Linux use. Perhaps wait for Aug, if it actually is available, and go for the 5700G. Still really would like a knowledgeable person to help size case/cooler though.
