Been changing up and looking over everything for the past few weeks, and I think that everything looks pretty good. Would like some feedback on how I did and if there is anything I can do to improve it. What it's at now is pretty much the most I can pay for it, so any changes would need to be to lower the price or kept at the same price.

Overclocking is going to be a future thing, which is why I went for an overclockable mobo/CPU and no aftermarket cooler. Will mostly be used for gaming. And a quick side question; Is the 450D good for someone with little cable managing experience? My last build, cable management wise, was terrible so I'm hoping to get something that isn't too hard to work with.

Here is what I came up with:

I'll have a look at that and see what I can get with my budget, thanks. But other than that, everything seems all good?

everything looks good.

i have seen the crucial 256 ssd going for under 100 lately.

a gtx 780 is a little overkill for a 1080p monitor but i never have an issue with that.

you could swap out gpus and get a r9 290 $370. that would save 160 then you can get a differant monitor. this is the one i got.

it is really nice. it is actually a samsung ips monitor. read the reviews i like it. the 1600p get a little pricier.

in the end you get more flexibility

So how is this?

there is nothing wrong with your build (other than the power supply) but if you save enough money you can get a better monitor (27" or 1440p) or a good gaming mouse, keyboard

after having this 1440p monitor I could never go back, games look so much better and the real estate for normal use is much better also . all i want now is a 4k screen, just waiting for reasonable prices.
