Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: By FEB2016
Budget Range: $1500 max
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming. Would like to be able to max, or get close to, in games like Far Cry 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and other graphically demanding games.
Are you buying a monitor: No.
Parts to Upgrade: Already have RAM (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL) - if sufficient
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Parts Preferences: Intel CPU / Nvidia GPU
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe?
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I'm not sure if it would be better to wait until FEB, since I don't need a new system until the HTC Vive has mainstream availability. Also, if I didn't build this myself, is Cyberpower an OK company to go with? It seems cost effective.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: For the HTC VIVE, and upcoming VR availability.
