Hi! I'm looking to build a new PC. I would be playing mainly ArmA 3 on it, and I understand that ArmA 3 is a pain in the arse to run smoothly but please try :) Much love! I would like to spend 1500$ max (Not including shipping) but I am willing to go over a couple hundred if it helps. This is what I have right now http://pcpartpicker.com/list/fNRfvV

Don't include case fans in the price as i'm going to get some of those regardless. I am pretty adamant on getting that case for some reason ha ha, I just love it. I will accept suggestions for different cases though.

I do not need monitors or a HDD. I have a 2TB one in my current build. I would like to get a new Keyboard and mouse but not necessary if it messes with the price. I would be purchasing sometime at the end of this week or beginning of next. Thanks in advance.

Looks pretty good.

But why not go to Skylake and get a 6700k and DDR4 RAM? Practically the same price as Previous gen and ddr3

Something roughly like this http://pcpartpicker.com/list/d6vLsJ.

You can change motherboard to something z710 that you prefer. Same with RAM, I just did this for a rough idea.

You will get the latest and greatest, and its $1 cheaper! :p Hahah

I do have a PSU I can use if needed to save money, It's the Corsair Cx600M The case fans are out of the question ha ha. I also have a 2TB already which I mentioned ;)

Features better components and leaves room for 1080 SLI.

Solution

Yeah, I saw. :)
I assume it's the green older CXM, i'd replace it for a new high end rig.
See above.

Ya It is definitely the older Green one :) Thank you so much !

EDIT: While youre at it ;) could you recommend a nice keyboard/mouse ? Mechanical preferred. I've never used one and apparently they are good

What in the world are you talking about. I went for Corsair RMx series not CXM, RMx is top of the PSU has great quality and comes with 10year warranty. The case fans I included are to replace fans that comes with Corsair H110i which are bit noisy.

H110i gives better and stable cooling than Cryorig H7 and maintains temperature in case low.

It does. :)
Also costs more though, i'll put in a NH-D14 to keep cooling lower then! :p
Note that you also went 70 bucks over.

Do have any other GPUs to use? That specific one is out of stock everywhere it seems

Sure thing! :)
A good place to start is Cherry MX Blues, they are the most popular switch, and my personal favorites. :p
If you pay 30 bucks more you can get the Strafe in RGB.

You're building this just for one game mainly? No need to spend too much then. This includes a GTX 1080 and doesn't cost too much.

Eh, I wouldn't say just one game. I'd like to play all the new and upcoming games at max settings etc as well. Thank you though :)

Wasn't talking about your build it wasn't up when I was making that post! :)
I was talking about the NEX power supply listed above, and the case fans attached to that build which didn't have a radiator.
Even so, AF fans have a horrible static pressure rating, and if you were to attach them to the radiator they would probably do worse than the stock fans due to the fact that they would not effectively push air through the heat fins of the radiator.
Go with the Fractal HP-12s or 14s for radiators.
Some other good options are the SP120s if you're on a budget or the NF-F12s if you can cough up a bit of cash, although the HP-14s are a nice in between with great operation.
Sorry for any confusion.

If you want something cheaper OP, get this.

Edit: Accidentally chose the wrong PSU, fixed.

You got it wrong. The fans will be placed above the RAD and will pull the heat from RAD and disperse it out of the case.

Oh right, had the visual image of intake pull! :)
That'll be fine, although dust still builds up on the inside, it's a problem you have to deal with no matter the configuration.
