I have the Corsair SP120 LED fans and when I run one of them on the CPU fan header, it runs at ~1700 RPM. The SP120 LED fans are only supposed to run at max. 1550 RPM. Is this safe for my fan? Will it decrease its life span? I don't really know why it runs this high since it's max RPM is 1550. Halp!

Solution
Perfectly normal, fans have a set fan speed, such as 1550 in this case, but there is a +- tolerance to the speed the fan will run at, this fan is at the the edge of the tolerance.
