so i made a pc build everything was fine except for 1 ram that was broken so i installed 12 gb of ram instead of 16 and everything was working fine.
now i changed the broken ram with a good one, same model same size.
at the beginning windows wasn't even starting so i loaded default values in the bios.
the problem is that now after a while that i play a game it crashes and i don't know why, i suspect is the ram since i only changed that.
the mobo is the asrock z170 gaming k4 and the ram is 4x4 gb hyperx fury @2400.
do i have to do anything in the bios before i can run 16 gb when upgrading to 12 gb ?
