so i want to buy a laptop should i aim at a long-term of 8gb of ram or 16 gb specially because how when u need to upgrade u have to buy a whole bunch of new 16 gb ram.....so will a 16gb with a gtx1050 (4gb) and and i7-7700hq with one 1tb drive with a 128 ssd
ps:i will use it for gaming and might use it in the future for some CAD.

you know what lets say i only decide to game on the laptop and use very light cad will the extra 8gb of ram still be worth it

i just dont want to waste money on something i wont use and maybe use the money to get better chassis build quality/screen quality btw what do u think of the fx503vd vs the acer nitro 5 i read in a review that the acer has kind of weak hinges and i feel that the asus fx503vd seems like it have a much stronger chasis and a cool more formally looking design but sadly both screens are tn so arent dat good but they r bright atleast not like most budget gaming laptops with a very low brightness well its the sacrifice for the good gaming power without making u get broken. the ones i am kind of between are the acer nitro 5 AN515-51-75SR which costs here in saudi arabia about $1080 ,it just says it has dual built-in speakers but it has a usb-c that the other laptop doesnt have and the asus fx503vd-dm106t is for $1120 with ICEpower audio. and my budget is around $1200

well i do play cod and battlefield on ps4 and want to start getting into pc gaming i get ur advice vapor ik that there some studf that dont really work on the 1050 but its budget and i didnt save much and my dad will be paying like half the laptop’s price and he’s no way gonna approve of me getting a $1250 laptop i guess a 1050(4gb) will get me a good gaming experience and ik not the best but its the circmustances and u have to roll with what u have

btw i just got this laptop recommended by an xoptic chat assistant http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-fx73ve-wh71.html. it has everything great even the screen is 72% NTSC and its 300 nits its like the first laptop with great specs plus great screen (ik not ips but still it seems good) and will add to it a 256gb ssd from the site and i think this will keep me rolling and btw do u think a 17.3’’ is portable enough to carry it with u to uni in a bag like i think like if it stays in a bag and i only gey it out in uni put it on desk thats good for a 17.3’’ right and do u know if xoptipc is reliable it seems popular as i see

so i am now btw these 2
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076KVCSRN/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=IK5GBADWQ42DK&colid=2KP1WBC5WBGQR&psc=1

and

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0773J6D9Z?th=1&psc=1

which should i get they are both of price $1250 but the asus astrix hero gl503vd with an 100%sRGP and 72% NSTC screen and the fx503vm is an ips like screen.but the fx503vm has a 1060 (3gb) and the gl503vd a 1050?(4gb) ik the gl503vd has a very good screen and it has also RGB keyboard but like a 1060(3gb) vs a 1050 (4gb) i think i should go for the fx503vd one 1060 one right ? and like about the screen i can maybe later get a good external monitor plus an rgb keyboard if i want...like what is left from me is to see which one is better cooled some rev said if u make the cpu to bec 99% instead of 100% it doesnt go into boost mode so u get less heat and that it need a cooling pad probably will get that when i start heavy gaming.

ik the problem is that idk i am into COD and PUBG and heavly modded minecraft and battlefield and these games are heavy games so i think a 1060 will be a wise future backup for most upcoming games
