Should i get a 1660 which are 600-700AUD or a 1650S which i can get for 300-400 AUD. Are there any pros and cons for each and would there be any alternatives that are around 300-450 AUD

Solution
If a 1660 gets you 60fps, and a 1650S is 5-10% worse, you'd be looking at 54fps to 57fps at the exact same settings. So the question becomes is the value of that 3-6 fps difference really worth the extra $200.

What do you have now?
1660 isnt that much better than a 1650 super, and I wouldn't pay double for the 5% -10% difference.
If you can get a 1650 for $300 AUD I would snatch it up assuming you are fairly certain is isnt ready to die

this will be my first card and the cards are brand new

I was using a very bad/old GT640, so yesterday I paid 290 euro for a new 1650 (not super)

So if I saw a new 1650 Super for 400 AUD from a reliable seller I would buy it immediately.

If you don't mind me asking, are these prices for well known (Asus, MSI, Gigabyte) or less known?

Is 1660 better than 1650S?
Ans: performance wise, Yes
but worth the extra money? not in your case|
(Btw, I use 1650 and my best friend uses 1650S, 1650S should be decent enough for 1080p@60 unless you want ULTRA in everygame)
