Can you mix 2 16gb sticks of DDR5 4800 with 2 8gb sticks of 4800.

Wife got me some more ram and I have 16gb(8gb x 2) installed already in my rigs 2 slots, but she bought me 2 more and they are 16gb x 2, so 32gb. Both are 4800 speed DDR5 Kingston Fury. Exact same models/manufacturer/speed.

My question is can I mix them and put them in all 4 slots to make 48gb of DDR5 4800?

Does it matter which slots the 16gb x 2 go in?

Just curious if anyone has done this.

if you can't return it. you can try. mixing slow ram usually work.
I probably could return it. She meant well but yeah, she saw my frustration with this DDR5 6000 Corsair Vengeance CL36 I bought and its instability. Basically XMP recognizes the ram and show the speed at 6000 with timings of 36-36-36-76 @ 1.35V and the computer seems to run lightning fast but when I stress test it by running a game it will crash. Sometimes right away, sometimes after a few minutes. Any way you think I can make it work? Tighter timings? Up the voltage to 1.4v?

if you have issue running fast ram on their xmp profile.
looser timing not tighter. and up the voltage a bit
